Coeweb -- Mailing list to discuss and share issues regarding the CoE site redesign and depts' choosing adoption

The list is for facilitating communication among College of Engineering staff who are involved in adopting the new web design with rollout starting with the main college site in summer 2008. The list helps departments and the central CoE web team stay in touch and helps departments collaborate as they face similar issues. Use the list to seek a solution to something you're struggling with, share a tip, ask a question whose answer would be of general interest to the list, etc. Questions on content management systems (CMS) are OK too. Down the road and if traffic warrants, we can set up a CMS-specific list. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Coeweb Archives. Using Coeweb
To post a message to all the list members, send email to coeweb@engr.washington.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Coeweb
Subscribe to Coeweb by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
